Severn Records announces a March 20 date for the re-release of two albums from exciting jazz fusion bassist Jimmy Earl: his self-titled CD and Stratosphere. Severn Records is distributed nationally by City Hall Records. " TV show, Jimmy Earl has played and recorded with Chick Corea, Stanley Clarke, Robben Ford and Italian vocalist/guitarist Pino Daniele. I just bought a MIM Fender Jazz bass and the neck pickup doesn't work, its brand new straight from the factory and it doesn't work.
HELP?

I'd have someone who is qualified to fix your bass take a look at it. Seems like the electrical line that runs from your pickup to your electronics got disconnected. Its an easy fix, shouldnt cost much ( or anything at all). If that doesnt help, then

I own a blue fender standard jazz bass and a marshall 15 watt amp.and a crate 15 watt amp too.also i have some effects pedals.what are some amp settings i could use to make it sound like a g3? i don't want to buy a gibsont' Way to expensive.

on the Jazz Bass itself, turn the tone to 10 and the volume to 5... on your amp put the Mid to 10, the bass to 5 and the treble to 5
