    More than their other well-known bands, Jack White and Alison Mosshart’s seven-inch-project-turned-rock-band expresses a mood—a dark and forbidding one at that. And while a general sense of unease might not be the first thing one thinks of when hearing about a new social networking phone like the Microsoft KIN, Saturday night’s show did promote that product. The gig, at a location announced just hours before the gig—a former storage site for horsedrawn carriages in the West Loop with an impressive curved timber ceiling—was obviously the place to be as a massive line snaked around the block by 6pm. Fans got about an hour of drinks in once the doors were opened. Capacity laws actually limited the turn-out to about 500, and the space never felt uncomfortable—which contributed to the exclusive vibe the event planners were hoping for. (Side note: the show took place right next to a wedding that Mayor Daley was attending and he poked his head in the venue before the show.)

    Which one is better overall?

    Buy the SR300GX. It is a better bass than the others and not much more expensive. All the accessories in the Jumpstart Packs are really cheaply made and will not last long, and the bass guitars included with these sets are pretty cheaply made as well, so definitely avoid those two.

    yes i already asked, but i didnt mean a bass used by the beatles, i mean the typical bass associated with the beatles, the McCartney hoffner, so yea same question, 5 string viola/violin/hoffner-style/hollowbody, i dont know how much more specific i can be. any brand,any price, any info you have thanx
