Are ESP Guitars good? What is their quality compared to Fender, Yamaha, or any other leading guitar companies?
Our church is buying new music equipment this weekend, but since they have credit in ONE store, my choice is limited. 80% of the stores guitar inventory is ESP guitars. I've never heard of that company... So i want to know if its better to just raise
like many companies, esp was once a high end/ pro niche but has since started making more affordable models, and some are low quality. but you get what you pay for. once you are into the $650 to $1000 range i think that for example an $800 guitar is almost





In 1975, Hisatake Shibuya opened a company called Electric Sound Products (ESP) in Tokyo. It provided custom replacement parts for guitars. In 1976, ESP gained a reputation as a provider of high-quality replacement parts for guitars.
(To help celebrate the Big Four shows this year, and the album's anniversary, ESP guitars even made a special limited edition strat with the Reign In Blood cover art on it). No one in the band realized at the time they had reached such a pinnacle.
