I want to fit a Bigsby vibrato on my Epiphone Dot Studio. Will that damage my guitar? I read on Wikipedia that Bigsby can be installed without altering the body of the guitar too much. But then again, that's wikipedia. anyone can...help clarify things?
Well, you do need to screw the tremolo unit onto the top of the guitar, so it does leave permanent marks of course.
That said, adding a properly installed unit like this can actually increase the sustain on the guitar like your (see video
