" Jaco Pastorius has long been regarded as one of, if not the, most influential bass guitarist of all time and as some of you may know, is Robert 's [ Trujillo , METALLICA bassist] personal hero. So upon overhearing a phone conversation that Jaco 's legendary 'Bass of Doom' had resurfaced after being missing for over twenty years, but was tied up in an ugly legal battle, Robert instinctively offered to assist the Pastorius family in its recovery. The happy ending is that the bass is with Robert and the Pastorius family...a true piece of musical history.

i think im going to get a bass guitar and my friend the plays electric guitar told me that ibanez are better then fenders but my other fried that actually plays bass said that fender are one of the best bass guitars! im really confused and im not sure which to get so im going to get other peoples opinions!
fender jazz bass = amazing
I have a fender deluxe series jazz bass guitar and it wont play when i plug it into the amp. i no the amp works because my other bass works wit it. i hope u can give me an answer.
Some bass guitars have batteries in them. Yours could have ran out of batteries.
If not, I suggest taking it to a guitar store like Sam Ash and asking them to see if they can find anything wrong with it.
