I really love the these guitars but its just way too expensive. So, whats the best quality, CHEAP guitar thats similar in style and tone, etc, to the gibson es 335?
try looking at the ibanez artcore series. i'm not sure of the exact model number, but ibanez has a decent copy of a 335.
well, a search was easy and turned up this...

Can I switch the pickguard on a Gibson ES-335?
Aug 10, 2009 by rubyslippers93 | Posted in Performing Arts
I am thinking about purchasing a Gibson ES-335 guitar. However, I play left handed and it's difficult to even find left handed guitars, and if I do they cost more. I'm going to get a righty and switch the strings, and I was wondering if anyone knows if
Yes, you can switch the pickguard but the pots will still be on top. :)
Their might be a slight modification although technically, it will fit but here is the problem. You will have the front of the pickguard int he back and the back in
