Well the Gibson is obviously nicer but for the cost difference I would get the Epiphone.

What's the difference between the Gibson Les Paul Standard and the Gibson Les Paul studio?
Apr 28, 2010 by Jack A | Posted in Rock and Pop
I bought a Gibson Les Paul Studio for $900 and noticed the Les Paul standards are $2000. Is there any difference apart from the apperiance? Or do they both sound the same?
Yeah there is a difference. I also bought a Gibson Les Paul Studio and i love it! But With the Standard or the Custom your probably gonna have a boost in some area's such as the sustain of the notes. You probably would have less feed back with the Standard
