Gretsch acoustic guitars...?

I play Gretsch drums and I know they make a great semi-hollowbody (white falcon, 6120, ect) but how are their acoustics?
They are no big deal. They're as good as the rest of the acoustics made in Asia, which is to say that their quality varies. There will undoubtedly be a few good ones, a few clunkers, and a bunch that are okay. However they are not in the same class

I play guitar, I have a Taylor 410ce and a Gretsch 6120 Brian Setzer so I know if I'm playing a good instrument, and I want to play ukulele. I bought a $50 dollar Hilo from my local guitar center, and the intonation and action makes it unplayable. What's
The great thing about ukes is that unlike guitars, you do have a chance of finding something pretty decent in that price range. For less than $60 you can get a Kala KA15-S or an Ohana SK-10. Both are pretty decent instruments for ukes with laminated tops.
