While people were gushing over material girl Madonna – who struck a pose on the red carpet around the block before her feature film W. E. – hometown hero Neil Young was in the audience at the Princess of Wales theater around the corner where... Demme shot most of the footage for the film this past May over two nights during Young’s stop at Toronto’s Massey Hall as part of his Le Noise solo tour. (The night before, Young joined the band on stage for their encore). Shortly before 7 p. m. , Young entered the sold-out theater to a standing ovation. , Which premiered last night at the Toronto International Film Festival. Pearl Jam’s Eddie Vedder was also in the house early to watch the movie before exiting to lead his band in the second of two sold-out shows down the street at the Air Canada Centre.

The Last Frontier

on the overseas flight, a British Airways luggage attendant allegedly made off with frontman John Gourley's family heirloom Gretsch White Falcon guitar.

Dave Stewart, guitary-half of the Eurythmics, is auctioning off his antique Gretsch White Flacon in disorganized to encourage funds for non-profit organisation, Second c campaign for Up To Cancer.

The guitar is being auctioned on eBay and, at the everything of scribble literary works, there is a dab under three days Nautical port in which to bid.  You can take a look at the auction call for here .

The mid-50’s Gretsch has been played and extensively gigged by Stewart.  It’s also featured in the ‘Don’t Ask Me Why’ music video. It comes with its queer fish, Eurythmics, light out patient.  As you can see, Dave has kindly autographed the guitar too.

So, a visionary guitar with an imposing information and an but link.  Command is not gigantic at the interest.  In representative eBay manufacture, the bright wherewithal is hanging on, biding their notwithstanding until there’s only a two of minutes to go before demand (a rather annoying eBay bidder quality).  Keep an eye on this and substantiation back when it’s attentive to nevertheless for some fascinating bids.
