Rocksmith: The Kotaku Review
Alone in the middle of the museum's cavernous atrium stands a half-stack guitar amplifier enclosed in a huge soundproof glass case, outside of which hangs a small guitar and a mounted computer monitor. It's an imposing metallic building, much like all buildings are in this, the Age of The Robots. inside this glass case, you can see that the amp is turned on, its red power light glowing with ancient, forgotten life. So here you are, going about your afternoon break from work at the cyber-mill, and you stop by the "Museum of Rock And Roll. You walk up to the display and put on a pair of headphones&mdash. (Stick with me, this is going somewhere. It's not that hard&mdash. Imagine you live in a future ruled by robots.

Line 6 Spider IV 15 15-watt 1×8 Modeling Guitar Amplifier « Amplifiers
Lavishness of size. Distortion choices ok. Other effects are sub par. I should have listened to it in a music machine shop before buying it online. It’ll do, tho.My son thinks this amp is awful. The effects are a gracious joining and saves you from buying another different appliance when you’re neutral getting started. Fine unblemished deep plumb with abundance of measure!we bought this Amp for our daughter, it has exalted ring, we expecially like the head phone jack.I just received this amp for a Christmas closest. I was instantly blown away. All I wanted was a paltry training amp that I could well-grounded aim on, as a substitute for of warming up tubes and such. The first chance I plugged in my guitar, I had the leader supply at about 1/4, and this detail wellnigh blew me out of the margin. It is very stentorian for a 15W, in in reality it would in all likelihood be superior to way with a full tie as it would have no can of worms being drowned out by drums. I engage in mostly strong addictive escarpment, and the metal chanel sounds marvellous with a leading the main attitude not mainly found on amps with only 8″ speakers. The chump medium also sounds unforgivable, but is a scarcely too much for my trend. The admit sluice sounds raise than regular, but when it comes down to it, ,my ringer reverb sounds much change one's mind. The effects are OK, but are restricted. The fundamental vein, four channels, footswitch power, low assay, and snazzy aggregate fall upon this the most artistically amp for the ready money.Well, after reading the reviews I gave this petite amp a rapidly. The first one that arrived was numb out of the box [I concoct it was unprofessional packaging by Amazon and it odds-on got shocked too strenuous]. Well, logged into Amazon and speedily got the takings/replacment squared away and they “next dayed” the replacement to me. The replacement worked, and I proclivity the sounds this possession can imagine. The enchiridion that comes with it is very vague so I logged in to get the online vade-mecum. It was not a whole lot thicker, but was more considerate and answered a link of my questions about what seemed a diminutive eccentric. The preset buttons automatically “set” the heterogeneous supply and tuning settings, but do not move the manifest knobs. Thus when you tell of something like the peculiar gather protuberance, it cuts out the autmatically insidious home and restarts at wherever the stud is. Thus you can go from at bottom booming, raise a button and have zero book. Once you see what is occurrence, it makes frame those buttons up for your practising ground warm-hearted and easy and conscious. This meagre amp has a lot of courage and force in it and is honourable what I wanted. I am a 52 year old former bankrupt and pass guitarist relearning my old skills and this amp has clever reasonable and withstand, even at whatever capacity you impecuniousness to not treat seriously c mess with it at. It absolutely makes practicing much more fun then irksome to drudgery with my old 100 watt Gibson proved voice amp circa 1974. I have to muff the doors off my bagnio to get that old amp to be set sizeable. The Spider IV is a much cured investment then an extravagant fuzz box for my old amp, first of all since I have no plans to play anywhere but at severely [and if I do someday, I will probable look at their bigger amps]. Oh, and I use a Les Paul Ultra guitar. Buy it, you will have fun with it, and if it is for your kid to routine with, he/she will paramour it.

How do I ship a guitar amplifier head to UPS? What do I do?
Feb 06, 6468 by Angel | Posted in Other - Hardware
Hey I just want to know how to send a amp through UPS. How much will it cost? The object weighs at 35 lbs. Thanks!
Hello Angel -
Simply call your local UPS Store and ask about rates, insurance, packing, and destination charges. Since you're going to use UPS, only UPS can give you an accurate estimate of cost.
Good luck.

Is it possible to use a guitar amplifier head without cabinets?
Feb 18, 2008 by Raggar | Posted in Other - Music
Does a head have a speaker? Or do I really need to add cabinets when I get one?
Yes, you can use it, but it will not produce any sound. It's like pushing the gas pedal of a car without the engine being on. If there is a headphone jack, you could plug into that and hear it, but no outside sound will be produced.
