That should be a pretty decent setup for the music you are going for. However, if you can afford about fifty extra bucks, go for something like this: I switched the amplifier on, the volume on but they dont seem to work together I'm gonna recommend buying new cables. I've owned over 20 cables and about 9 failed to work. Or jiggle the plug around a little. Or your cable connect on the guitar may be loose
