EXCLUSIVE: Bloody Bloody Andrew Jackson May Rock Broadway
According to a representative at the Public, "The show is definitely ending here on June 27 but given the success of Bloody Bloody (we've extended three times), The Public is exploring all our options for the future life of the show."
Penned by Alex Timbers (book) and the Civilians' Michael Friedman (music and lyrics), Bloody Bloody Andrew Jackson opened at the Public April 6. Timbers directs the production, which premiered at the Center Theatre Group's Kirk Douglas Theatre in Los Angeles in 2008 and was later staged in a developmental run as Bloody Bloody Andrew Jackson: The Concert Version for the 2009 Public LAB.
The cast of Bloody Bloody features Benjamin Walker as Jackson, with River Aguirre as Lyncoya, James Barry as Male Soloist, Michael Crane as Clay/Blackhawk, Michael Dunn as Calhoun, Greg Hildreth as Red Eagle, Jeff Hiller as John Quincy Adams, Lucas Near-Verbrugghe as Martin Van Buren, Maria Elena Ramirez as Rachel, Kate Cullen Roberts as Elizabeth, Ben Steinfeld as Monroe, Colleen Werthmann as The Storyteller and Emily Young as Female Soloist.

Would a dimarzio fast track 2 work in the middle position of my jackson soloist?

I was just wondering because it says its a bridge only pickup.
I have an x2n in the bridge and the sd classic stack in the neck.
I use a Strat with a Dimarzio Air Zone in the bridge, a fast track 2 in the middle and a fast track 1 in the neck. It sounds great.
The only reason I really did that is because I took the two fast tracks out of another Strat and the FS2 didn't have enough wire to be put in the front (it was in the bridge on the old strat.) What I did do is put it as deep as I could, because it is a hot pickup. Flush with the pickguard. Th FS1 would probably be a better choice.

Jackson guitars are made and usually used for aggressive licks and speed metal. however, I use my jackson slsmg soloist for blues. I lovve the way the slim neck and the ebony fret board feels also the string are strung through the bod and its not a bolt on. Do any guitar players out there find it strange that i play this type of music on this guitar.
Not weird at all, and if it was who cares. As long as you're playin'. Whatever feels good; go with it.
