I may sound kinda stupid, and thats how i feel, but i have an acoustic guitar chich is a Martin, and an Electric which is a Crestwood. does Martin make electric Guitars, or maybe electric acoustic? Depending on the condition of the Martin that you currently have, it may be best to simply add a pickup or two to your guitar. Martin DOES make acoustic-electric guitars:
