Uriah Heep been roaming the globe since the 1970s, rolling out turgid rock ‘n’ roll that has built a loyal fan club that spans several generations. Cranking out what are now his classic Heep riffs, guitarist Mick Box , remains the only original member of the group, still plowing through set lists of the group’s hard charging rock ‘n’ roll.
Michael Frederick Box hails from Walthamstow, East London, England and was born in the late ’40s, during the embryonic days of rock music. Growing up he tracked the rise of rock ‘n’ roll listening to rock’s pioneers like Elvis, Chuck Berry, and Little Richard and in Mick’s early twenties he emerged to make his own mark on the music, initially when the group was originally called Spice.
The group would re-name themselves Uriah Heep, a name that drew blanks to those without access to the works of Charles Dickens, but also grabbed the band some attention. Heep hit the clubs in England and Europe before they landed in the States on their first U.S. tour (1970) where they shared billing with If, Three Dog Night, Steppenwolf and one gig with Alvin Lee and Ten Years After.

It's 344 dollars. And i like it, but i don't know if it is a good guitar.
I play guitar almost every day. I have played the Washburn. They have a good sound BUT the action is heavy. If you have to play for 2 or 3 hours you will NOT like it. For a few dollars more you can get a Taylor or Ephiphone, both good easy action and good tone.
I am a beginner/intermediate and looking to buy a decent starting guitar. If anyone knows about the Washburn D10S acoustic guitars, can you tell me if its a good choice? Thanks.
If you like the tone, and it feels right, then just go for it. Also, take a look at the Jasmine S33, it's pretty sweet =)
