I’d worked hard for that guitar, its sounds were full and rich, and it was going to cast a spell on me and those around me. Yes, my Yamaha FG-580 steel string – with a little help from its new best friend – was going to change lives. My guitar is magical. It did manage to change lives, though. It didn’t make me famous or accompany me on any world tours to support massively successful albums, but it has stuck by me faithfully through the tribulations, joys and in-betweens of a more or less normal life, to arrive at the particular time... A place that ain’t all that bad, most things considered. One at least. I was young.
I recieved a Yamaha fg-735s acoustic guitar for christmas and would like to know more about it, for some reason its not even on the Yamaha web site and I can only find its sibling guitars the fg-720s, fg-730, and fg-750s.

I recently bought a used Yamaha FG-75 because it had a really good rep (for the price too) but the previous owner had changed the strings, and I am not that satisfied with the sound.
What strings should I buy to get this old guitar playing
either Elixer or Cleartone strings. i've used both and i luv 'em. any Elixer is good but it sheds eventually, so get Elixer nanoweb
